So much shit has happened! Classes are fin until Jun 1st I’m gonna be stalking out my grades and harassing financial aid something serious. This summer I planned on just doing nothing as I normally would do. My dad came over and informed me of a few things. We have 2 family reunions the Cassel/Cassell Family reunion is a serious production I almost never go to those I don’t know those people, I find them to be a bit uppity. Theres also the reunion that we usually have here at my house every year. This year my gram has decided shes done with it. There has been talk of another gathering so I’ll probably be there (after my Saturday class -sigh).
My dad also wants me to go to this vodka tasting with him annnnd this wine tasting. (didn’t have the heart to him i don’t drink anymore) I’ll probably have a few because he never asks me to do stuff with him and I feeeeel that he’s trying to bond with me some. I hope he doesn’t feel that the situation with my sisters will be no more because of his relationship with me. Honestly I’m a little mad about it still but at the end of the day I wasn’t affected by what went down and my affiliation with him and my mother will not change how my sisters feel #facts. I still have daddy issues none the less always falling for the brotha who’s inconsistent, I need to do better. He’s having a fish fry/housewarming around my bday so in true Robert Cassel fashion we will be bundling all the events into one big deal. I have nada negative to say about it….I was planning on buying pizza! I’ll probably do that still because umm my damn birthday is on a Monday a jigga needs to find the time to acknowledge it.
There was other shit I wanted to add to that list but I’m running blank right now. The woman who comes for the family therapy/counseling session comes tomorrow. I’ll be at work, thank the heavens! The main issue I have with this woman and I do have a few other problems with her. However the one thing that kills me is she expects us to give my cousin incentives to do shit he’s expected to do. Like really gifts for grades? We never got those. I’ve heard of em but that shit was an urban legend in my house. My grandmother is extremely annoyed with this woman. She also suggested we go in the projects and confront his friends -side eye- this woman is not gonna drain the life out of me. I refuse to let her do that.
